Laszlo Nagy, of Lyndhurst, Ohio, was the fourth recipient of the NeuRx DPS™. In June 2002, after a motorcycle accident at the age of 36, Nagy was diagnosed as a C3 quadriplegic and was dependent on a ventilator. One year later, he was implanted with the NeuRx DPS™, and since then he has been living ventilator free. A graduate of Cleveland State University, Nagy is since married and works as a stockbroker.
